I love my job and the places it has taken me to! Recently I captured the awesome Mr & Mrs Brimelow's special day in Mission Beach North Queensland. This was a special day for an awesome couple but it was a little special for me also as my wife was one of the bridesmaids in the wedding! Safe to say it was the first time being able to kiss one of the bridesmaids and not get in trouble! LOL!!! The day was perfect for Megan & Scott and the evening was just as perfect with the reception at Castaways being a hop, skip and a jump from the beach! It was a pleasure to be part of our friends special day and it will be a day to be remember for many years to come! Congrats Megan and Scott!

Had the pleasure of capturing Sarah & Luke's big day recently and I can honestly say I've never laughed so much while capturing a wedding especially when shooting Luke and his groomsmen!! LMAO!!

It was a proud day for me also as Sarah was previously my assistant for 2 years a couple of years back and she said to me back then "I want you to shoot my wedding when I find Mr Right" and she found him and it was an honor to be a part of Sarah and Luke's awesome day! :) Sarah looked stunning and super proud of the young lady she has blossomed into and Luke looked very smart in his suit and is such a nice and very funny young gentlemen who adores Sarah and it was abvious they were meant for each other! Mr & Mrs Menegazzo - 30th June 2018 - Townsville

Last Saturday the gorgeous couple Tegan and Matthew said their I do's to each other and started a new exciting chapter in their lives together as Mr & Mrs! It was an awesome day filled with fun, laughter and happy tears! It was such a special and emotional day for everyone and especially Matthew who shed a tear reading the letter from his bride to be in the morning and again when he seen Tegan walking down the aisle towards him! Very special to see Matthew tear up as men try to hide their emotions but you could clearly see that the stunning Tegan means the world to him and he couldn't hold back the tears of joy! The afternoon was a barrel of laughs with their bridal party and fun had by all! One location we were close to Maccas' and the bridal party were starving so Tegan and her bridesmaids headed into Maccas' to sort out a feast for everyone! Should have seen the look on peoples' faces when a bride and her girl posse stroll in and ordered up a storm! We just had to get a burger shot with ladies in front of the Maccas Sign!! LOL! The Pier was the awesome location for their reception and it was a great evening with great food and some sweet dances moves busting out on the dance floor! I won't lie, when I was contaced by Kate I was honored and also nervous as she is an awesome wedding photographer herself so I was humbled that she chose me to capture her and Ryan's special day! :) With Kate being in the wedding industry for years she knew what would make her wedding day amazing and that it was!! Everything was on point from the antque styling at the ceremony and reception, visit from Frosty Whip for the guests, the amazeballs BBQ share platters from Ottos for dinner through to her stunning dress from Channel Lauren!! I had a ball with Kate, Ryan and their awesome bridal party with lots of laughs and jokes thrown around!! Had the pleasure of traveling to Airlie Beach last Wednesday to capture Andrew & Citaya say their I do's at the stunning location that is Earlando! I had a great time with Andrew and Citaya on their engagement shoot earlier in the year and knew there wedding was going to be a great day filled with laughs and I was spot on!! This was not only a special day as Citaya and Andrew were saying their I do's to each other but it was Citaya's birthday also!!! I picked up a cupcake and a candle and Emma her bridesmaid and I sang her happy birthday before she left for the ceremony to make the day a little more special!

Citaya looked stunning in her dress from Signature Bridal Townsville and arrived in style by helicopter to the ceremony. Andrew was looking smhick in his suit from Tarocash and shed a tear when his gorgeous bride to be walked down the aisle towards him!

After the ceremony and a quick beverage to celebrate we were whisked away in a 4WD with Ben from Earlando to some amazing locations on the property before heading to back to their reception under the stars!! Such an amazing day for this awesome couple and I really had a fantastic time and didn't want to leave the party!! Mr & Mrs McNevin - 1st June 2018 - Fiji

I first meet Dave and Yvonne when I captured their neighbour's wedding 3 years ago. Yvonne contacted me last year and said she loved the photo's I captured for Georgina & Pete and asked if I would capture her special day! Of course, I said and then she told me it will be in Fiji!!! Internal happy dance then a resounding HELL YES was my answer!!!! I was pretty excited and honoured that Yvonne and Dave wished me to capture their special day in Fiji which was to be my first international wedding!!!

My wife and I travelled to Fiji a couple of days before the wedding day to scout out the Outrigger Beach Resort where the wedding was being held and to have a little explore of the local area as it was our first time to Fiji!! We meet with Dave & Yvonne the afternoon before the wedding to catch up and meet their wedding guests! They are such awesome down to earth people and their guests were so welcoming also and I knew their day was going to be amazing surrounded by their close friends and family!!

The big day arrived and a storm was forecast but the rain stayed away but the clouds stuck around which didn't bother me as it creates a dramatic sky! :) Yvonne looked stunning in her gown from Grace Loves Lace and Dave was looking very smart and relaxed in his beach wedding attire and pluggers!! The ceremony was held on the beach right in front of the resort which was racked and set up beautifully with an awesome view of the ocean. Loved the connection between Yvonne and Dave as they pulled funny faces at each other and laughed the whole afternoon! We had a great location shoot with the bridal party and our porters from the resort who transported us around the resort to the best locations via golf buggy! We had an amazing afternoon and finished with a backlit flash shot on the beach before heading to their reception venue at the resort. It was an amazing setup and the food and staff were awesome! There was a surprise that I was given the heads up about and it did not disappoint! Local fire dancers came to the reception and performed and it was outstanding!!  Such an amazing privilege and experience to have captured Dave & Yvonne's special day in Fiji!! Congrats Mr & Mrs McNevin and thank you for choosing me and allowing my wife and I to be a part of your special day!!  BULA!!!

Mr & Mrs Jordan - 20th May 2018 - Townsville

Damien & Coralie tied the knot last Saturday and although it wasn't broadcast and watched by millions of people around the world like the royal wedding, it was just as special! I got along well with Damien and Coralie on their engagement shoot with me and I knew the big day would be like friends catching up again! It was such a fun day and such lovely friends and family were present to witness and share in this special day for Damien & Coralie! The weather was cloudy most of the day and although the sun only broke through for 60 seconds, I made the most of the awesome stormy clouds as a dramatic backdrop for the newlyweds! The reception was held at a family members house out at Alice River and the setup was pretty impressive with rows of fairy lights and lanterns being the canopy for the open air reception! Food was on point with a belly filling feast from Coast to Coast Golden Roast! Such an awesome day and such an honour to be a part of Damien & Coralie's special day!  Congrats Mr & Mrs Jordan! :)

Jake and Megan have been in front of my lens on a few occasions before their special day with myself capturing their family shoot, Jake's brother's wedding and Megan's sister's wedding also! Such an amazing honour to have been a part of both Jake and Megan's families capturing their special moments over the years and Megan & Jake's special day was awesome, to say the least!! I started the morning with Jake and the men and as you can see in the photos, a joke and laughter were very well present! Jake was looking on point in his suit and tie and nailed the poses for the groom shots! Megan looked stunning just in her robe with hair and makeup nailed but when she put her gown on..... OMG! I LOVED her dress!! Gorgeous and suited her to a T! Teamed with Megan's gorgeous bridesmaids we had a fun time with bridal prep! Ceremony at Sacred Heart never disappoints and it is was a fun afternoon with location shots ending with a gorgeous sunset! Reception was held at the Pier Restaurant which is a great venue and the food was delish!!  Awesome night had by all and the dance floor got a workout thanks to the live musician who was awesome!! Kate and Jason traveled across ocean to Magnetic Island recently to say I do's! Magnetic Island is such a special place and what a more fitting place for a special couple that Kate and Jason are to start the next chapter in their lives together!

Kate and Jason are from my home town of Ayr and are such down to earth people with a great sense of humor so we hit if off from the start so come their wedding day it felt like I was capturing a friends wedding! :) Jason is quite the romantic with surprising Kate with some amazing gifts and a lovely hand written card with each gift which had Kate's heart skipping and looking forward  to marrying the man of her dreams! Kate looked stunning in her gown from Wedding Gowns by Melinda and she had a smile that was not fading and rightly so! Who wouldn't be ecstatic finally arriving to the day that she gets to marry her soul mate! :) Jason looked on point with his suit from Michael's Mens and Boys Wear and I loved his sport jacket and bow-tie!!

The weather was flawless and the location of their ceremony was a gorgeous spot overlooking the beach at Picnic Bay! After group and family photos we had an awesome afternoon with just Kate and Jason capturing some precious memories of them on this very special day! We visited the Picnic Bay Jetty and finished up at the Boulders for sunset before heading to Peppers for the party!! Awesome day, awesome couple!! Doug and Megan said I do's recently at Anderson Gardens in Townsville surrounded by family and close friends. Townsville turned on the weather and it was an awesome day to get married in the park! Laughs a plenty with Doug and the lads in the morning which carried on throughout the day!! :) Megan looked stunning in her dress and walking with her mother towards her husband to be Doug who had a smile from ear to ear to see his wife to be! Their gorgeous daughter Evelyn almost stole the show with her gorgeous little red locks and cheeky smile! I love the shot I capture of their first kiss where you can see Evelyn's head popping up in between them to see what mum and dad were up to! Mr & Mrs Knuth - 7th April 2018 - Charters Towers Wedding

Megan & Karl tied the knot on Karl's family run cattle station on the banks of the Burdekin River just south of Charters Towers and it was stunning! :) Leading up to the wedding was a little stressful as the only access to the wedding for their 240 guests was via a dirt road and a cattle grid bridge and with all the rain Charters Towers had the weeks leading up to the wedding it was touch and go! The weather cleared up the week of the wedding and everything came together on their special day! Megan is such a gorgeous young lady inside and out and looked stunning in her dress. Karl is a strapping young man and was looking very slick in his dark navy suit!!

Had a great afternoon full of laughs on our location shots with Megan, Karl and their awesome fun bridal party! We ended our location shots with Karl and the men herding in weaners in a cattle yard to get some great shots of Karl and Megan amongst the cattle! I wont' lie I was a little unsure of the situation at first as the cattle were giving me the stare down but it was all gravy and we got some cracking shots! :) The reception was pretty special under a massive marquee lined with fairy lights. Great vibe throughout the night and the sparkler tunnel exit was epic!! Congrats Megan and Karl and it was an honour to be a part of your special day! :)
